At Gordon’s Grooming, our award-winning team combines professional expertise with genuine passion for animals. Our staff regularly pursues continuing education and many are accomplished animal handlers, trainers, and show competitors. With several long-standing team members, we provide consistent, quality care for your pets.

Lara Latshaw

Owner and Master Groomer

As one of only seven National Certified Master Groomers in Indiana, Lara brings over 20 years of professional grooming expertise to our salon. She actively teaches at national competitions and conferences across the United States, and is a certified Pet Tech CPR/First Aid Instructor.

In the show ring, Lara has successfully handled both Bichon Frises and Grand Basset Griffon Vendéens (GBGV). She currently serves as President of the GBGV Foundation Board and Chair of the GBGV Club of America Newsletter. Her leadership extends to the GBGV Health Committee, demonstrating her commitment to breed health and development.

Beyond grooming, Lara is an accomplished PADI SCUBA Instructor who completed the PADI Tec 50 program in 2023. She continues to expand her diving expertise through advanced certification programs.


Sarah Morehead

Salon Manager

 

As our Salon Manager, Sarah brings her extensive knowledge of show dogs and professional handling to Gordon’s Grooming. She actively shows her three harlequin Great Danes—Hope, Valor, and Wynn—in competitive events, aspiring toward the prestigious Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show. Sarah’s passion for pet education and owner support ensures our clients receive expert guidance for their pets’ grooming needs.

 


Laura Van Scarborough

Manager

Laura combines her Associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology and experience as a Registered Veterinary Technician from Clayview Animal Clinic with her role managing our front desk and retail operations. Since joining Gordon’s Grooming, she has become an invaluable team member, bringing medical knowledge and customer service expertise to our salon. Laura shares her home with her beloved dog Dezie.

 

 

 

 


Rayne Scott

Assistant Manager, Bather & Salon Maintenance

As Assistant Manager, Rayne oversees our salon’s daily operations and maintains our high standards of cleanliness and organization. His attention to detail ensures a safe, comfortable environment for both pets and staff.


Megan Sill

Groomer

With over three years of professional grooming experience, Megan specializes in precision cuts for Bichons, Schnauzers, and Pomeranians. Her artistic approach to grooming helps each dog look and feel their best. At home, Megan cares for an diverse family of pets, including Cooper the American Eskimo Dog, Kiki the Cat, two Western Hognose Snakes (Naga and Agni), and her newest addition, Nova the Silken Windhound.


Maddie Roberts

Groomer

Specializing in wire-coated breeds, Maddie brings enthusiasm and expertise to every grooming session. Her understanding of dog behavior and enrichment helps create a positive experience for her clients. When not grooming, she spends time with her Dachshund, Donna, and German Shorthaired Pointer, Mando, often engaging them with interactive puzzle toys and training activities.


Jill Phillips

Groomer

Since 2015, Jill has applied her extensive animal handling experience—from horses to dogs—to professional grooming. Her background as a horseback riding instructor and work with working breeds makes her especially skilled with larger dogs. She shares her home with two Australian Cattle Dogs (Zoey and Blue) and maintains her connection to equestrian life with her horses, Pize and Ethel. Her previous career as a graphic artist contributes to her eye for detail in grooming.


Kadi Sosnowicz

Groomer

With nine years of grooming expertise and veterinary technician training, Kadi excels in comprehensive pet care. Her specialty lies in deshedding treatments for heavy-coated breeds like Pomeranians and Huskies. Her experience in doggie daycare enhanced her handling skills, while her own menagerie—including cats Henry and Panther, and ferret Ferrita—reflects her diverse animal care knowledge.


Sam Lampton

Groomer

Based in Bremen, Sam brings two years of professional grooming experience to our team. Her dedication to continuing education and pet care makes her a valuable addition to our grooming staff.


Dakota Fox

Groomer

A graduate of Gordon’s Grooming training program, Dakota has developed particular expertise with Doodle breeds and mixed-coat dogs. Her attention to detail and gentle approach make her especially popular with our Doodle clients. When not grooming, she enjoys reading and spending time with her son, Bear.


Kylie Armstrong

Apprentice Bather & Groomer

Originally from Indianapolis, Kylie now brings her enthusiasm for animal care to our Granger location. Currently completing her grooming apprenticeship, she demonstrates natural talent in pet handling. Her Chihuahua mix, Snoopy, inspired her passion for professional pet care.


Casey Morehead

Cat Groomer & Apprentice Dog Groomer

A member of the Gordon’s Grooming team since 2022, Casey has developed into our  cat groomer while pursuing her dog grooming apprenticeship. Growing up around Great Danes gave her a strong foundation in animal handling, which she now applies to her professional grooming career. Having graduated high school in December 2024, she’s now fully dedicated to advancing her grooming expertise.


Kaleb Sill

Bather

Kaleb has been a bather at Gordon’s for a few years now.  He started working her per his sister’s suggestion (Megan is a groomer here!)


Mariah Steinke

Bather

A Mishawaka native, Mariah brings her experience with strong, energetic breeds to her role as a professional bather. Her personal experience with her three pit bull mixes—Nora, Xena, and Frankie—has given her valuable insights into handling various dog temperaments.
